Judges’ Choice Awards:

  • “Spirit of the Fest” - to be awarded to the Competitor that brings that extra special something — all the flavor, fun, and vibes — to Salsa Fest 2026

Competing restaurants provide: 

  • 4-5 gallons of salsa (competitors may enter only one salsa, so bring your best!)

  • Serving spoon(s)

  • A banner with your restaurant or business logo/name and any booth decor you’d like

  • A handwashing station (if you do not have one, we can provide)

  • A representative from your restaurant to serve the salsa (if you need volunteers to help serve, this can be arranged; we love seeing the interaction between salsa competitors and attendees, though- that’s where the magic of Salsa Fest really happens!)

  • A 10 x 10 tent (if you do not have one, we can provide)

We provide:

  • Small containers for the salsa

  • Chips for attendees to taste your salsa

  • All event infrastructure (restrooms, security, etc.)

Fill out the application below to become a salsa tasting competitor. Only 16 competitor spots are available this year, and we will accept applicants on a first-come, first-served basis. We be in contact to confirm your spot in the competition; completion of the competitor form does not ensure entry in the competition.

The North Park Salsa Fest is a fundraiser for Friends of Jefferson Elementary, a 501(c)3 organization with the sole purpose of funding enrichment programs (art, garden, dance, etc) at Jefferson Elementary School. Any donation of salsa is tax deductible.
